PromptPerfect (by Jina AI) is no longer available after 1 September 2026, following Elastic’s acquisition of Jina. If you used it to turn rough prompts into clearer ones, you need a replacement that does the same job — rewrite the input, not answer it for you.

What PromptPerfect did (and what replaces it)
PromptPerfect’s main job for most people was interactive prompt optimisation: take a weak prompt, return a stronger one. Some users also cared about an API or a stored library.

How Prompt Mate works
- Type it badly — one line or a half-formed thought is fine.
- Say where it’s going — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Any AI, or an image model. Output is shaped for the destination (e.g. XML-style structure for Claude, Markdown steps for ChatGPT, a dense line for image models).
- Paste and go — you get a finished prompt and a note on what changed. Prompt Mate rewrites; it does not run the task itself.
With the Chrome extension, the rewrite happens inside the ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini input box, so there is nothing to copy between tabs.

Do Free and Pro use the same models?
No. Pro unlocks the latest Claude and OpenAI models. Free uses standard models.
Do you train on my prompts?
No. Prompts are stored so you can find them again, protected by row-level security, and not used to train models.
