Chrome extension

The Prompt Mate Chrome extension: enhance prompts where you already type

Intro

Most bad AI answers start as half-finished prompts. The Prompt Mate Chrome extension rewrites the rough line you are already typing inside Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini — in place, in one click — so you never copy between tabs.

It is the same free AI prompt enhancer that lives at promptmate.cloud, delivered as an Enhance control next to the chat input (or Ctrl+Shift+E). Pick what the prompt is for, how detailed you want it, and the tone. Prompt Mate returns a structured prompt shaped for that destination, plus a short note on what changed. Click Replace and send.

Three enhancements a day with no account. Sign up for unlimited Free after a 7-day Pro trial with no card.

How it works (in the chat you already use)

  1. Type as usual — open Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini and draft your rough prompt in the input box.
  2. Click Enhance — use the Prompt Mate pill beside the input, or press Ctrl+Shift+E.
  3. Choose destination, detail and tone — ten prompt categories (coding, writing, image generation, research, marketing and more), three depth levels, seven tones.
  4. Replace and send — you get a structured prompt formatted the way that AI responds to best, plus an explanation of what changed. Prompt Mate rewrites; it does not run the task itself.

Output is destination-shaped: XML-style sections for Claude, Markdown steps for ChatGPT, direct instructions for Gemini. Image-style work gets a dense descriptor line when that path applies.

You can also enable the extension on other sites with a text box, only where you opt in — it does not scan the web on its own.

FAQ

Is the Chrome extension free?
Yes. Three enhancements a day with no account. Sign up for unlimited Free after the 7-day Pro trial (no card). Pro is optional.

Which sites does it work on?
Primary surfaces: claude.ai, chatgpt.com and gemini.google.com. You can enable it on other sites that have a text box, only where you choose.

Do Free and Pro use the same models?
No. Pro unlocks the latest Claude and OpenAI models for the rewrite. Free uses standard models.

Does it read my browsing history?
No. Text is sent only when you click Enhance, and only the text in that input. The product does not track browsing, inject ads, or train on your prompts.

Is this the same as promptmate.io or promptmate.ai?
No. Prompt Mate at promptmate.cloud is a separate product. We are not affiliated with those sites.

Who offers the Chrome listing?
The product brand is Prompt Mate (founder Moazzam Ali). The Chrome Web Store publisher line may still show the operating company name on the listing — that is a store identity detail, not a different product. For help, use ali@promptmate.cloud or promptmate.cloud/support.

Who do I contact?
Founder Moazzam Ali — ali@promptmate.cloud. Facebook: Promptmate.cloud.

Closing CTA

Stop rewriting the same prompt three times before you hit send. Install the extension, enhance one rough line inside ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, then decide if Pro’s models and comprehensive detail are worth $9/month.
