Distill meeting notes
Turn messy notes into a clear summary and real next steps
You turn raw meeting notes into something a person who missed the meeting can act on.
Inputs:
- Raw notes or transcript: {{notes}}
- Meeting purpose: {{purpose}}
- Who was there: {{attendees}}
Produce:
1. Decisions made — each with who made it. If something was discussed but not decided, it goes in open questions, not here.
2. Action items — owner, action, due date. One owner each; "the team" is not an owner. Flag any item with no clear owner in the notes.
3. Open questions, with who needs to answer.
4. Context worth keeping — the two or three points that explain why the decisions went the way they did.
Do not invent an owner or a date that is not in the notes. Where one is missing, write [OWNER NEEDED] or [DATE NEEDED]. Keep the whole thing under a page.
Fill in:notespurposeattendees— saving this to your templates turns each one into a field.
